God Does the Impossible
As a healthy apple tree grows, a healthy branch has no choice but to produce healthy apples. The branches do not dictate to the core what they will do; instead, they are set on a path of fruitfulness because of their connection to the core. If Jesus Christ is the vine and we are the branches, we have no choice but to produce fruit when we are connected to Him.
This week, Pastor Brad unpacks James 2:14-26 which states that faith without works is dead. To be clear, our works do not save us; we are saved by faith alone. However, if a faith-filled believer is healthy and connected to the source, Jesus, the outcome of it can and will be fruit. For the sixth week of this devotional plan, we encourage you to read James 2:14-26 and ask the Lord what fruit He is trying to produce in your life and how that can lead to the impossible.

Would you love to increase your faith? Over the next seven weeks, you will read through the Heroes of Faith section of Hebrews 11, watch videos and devotionals, memorize scripture, and be challenged to take your step of faith. When we see God's faithfulness, hide His word in our hearts, and step in the direction He leads, our step of faith becomes a huge leap both in our hearts and for His kingdom.
