Day 11: The Strength of Submission
**Reflection:**
Submission is often misunderstood, but it is a source of great strength in marriage. Ephesians 5:22-24 calls wives to submit to their husbands as unto the Lord, recognizing God has established order in marriage. Submission is not about weakness or inferiority but about trusting God’s design and honoring your husband’s leadership.
Colossians 3:18 describes submission as fitting in the Lord. When you submit to your husband, you ultimately submit to God, trusting He will guide and protect your marriage.
1 Peter 3:1-2 highlights the impact of a wife’s submission, even in difficult situations. Your behavior, purity, and reverence can win your husband over to the Lord, showing the strength and beauty of a submissive heart.
Today, embrace the strength of submission, knowing it is a powerful way to honor God and strengthen your marriage.
**Prayer:**
Father, help me understand and embrace the strength of submission. Teach me to honor my husband and to trust Your design for our marriage. May my submission reflect my love for You and be a source of strength in our relationship. Amen.
