Warning! Beware of the Spirit of Fearنموونە

When a person is filled with the spirit of fear, they cannot truly love.
Fear breeds jealousy, insecurity, and distrust (1 Samuel 18:6-9).
Fear significantly affects how we treat others and impacts our relationships, including marriage and sharing the gospel with others.
God’s Word says that one evidence of being a true Christian is the love we have for others (John 13:35), but the spirit of fear prevents us from loving them genuinely.
- Love asks: “What can I do for them?”
- Fear asks: “What will they do to me?”
- Love asks: “How can I help them?”
- Fear asks: “How can they harm me?”
Love brings us closer to people, while fear drives us away.
But when God’s perfect love fills our hearts, it drives out fear (1 John 4:18).
