The Kid: An Advent Devotional for Middle Schoolersنموونە

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT BELOW
There’s something a little bittersweet about the end of the holiday season. One day, everything is all merry and bright, and the next, you’re boxing it all up, and life goes back to normal. But should it? The Kid—Jesus—didn't just come for a season; He came for every season. He became human, lived among us, and showed us what God's love looks like in action, not just for one holiday but every day. This wasn't just a visit; it was a move-in. And that means we can look to, learn about, and lean on Jesus the way we do at Christmas all year round.
This week, set a goal for yourself in the coming year. How do you want to stay connected to Jesus once the Christmas season ends? Be sure to share it with someone—a Small Group Leader, your Small Group, or a parent—who can hold you accountable for continuing to grow in faith in the new year.
