Called to Jesus

And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him. Mark 3:13 (ESV).

Jesus extends a profound invitation to each of us. His call is both a call to salvation and a call to go higher in our spiritual journey. He desires a personal relationship with us, inviting us into His grace, and urging us toward spiritual maturity. This call requires our response by coming to Him with an open heart. How have you responded to Jesus’ call in your life? Are there areas where you feel He is inviting you to go higher?

Prayer: Father God, Thank You for calling me to You. Help me to recognize Your voice and respond with a willing heart. Lead me to a deeper understanding of Your grace and a higher pursuit of spiritual maturity. In Jesus name, Amen.
