Learning to Be Vulnerableنموونە

REPUTATION
Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood took risks, regardless of their reputations. Jairus was respected as a synagogue leader yet knelt before Jesus. He didn't care about his status. His worldly importance meant nothing before Jesus; he knew his title wouldn't save his daughter. Both Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood understood they needed Jesus.
God's mercy humbles us to the point of realizing we are nothing. We can't buy miracles with money or earn salvation by being good enough. Before God, the spotlights of this world fade. What matters is the heart, the soul, our essence. Jairus understood this. He wasn't ashamed to kneel; he knew he needed Jesus and was vulnerable before Him.
Unlike Jairus, the woman with the issue of blood was an outcast. Her illness branded her as impure by society. Despite her low reputation, she didn't let that stop her from reaching out to Jesus in the midst of the crowd.
Don't let fear of what others will think stop you from kneeling before Jesus or reaching out to touch Him.
This world will categorize you; people will give you names and titles. Your bank balance, social media followers, or appearance may seem more important than your character. Don't be alarmed; people can pretend to be what they're not, but we can't deceive Jesus.
Pleasing others may lead to temporary success and fame, but pleasing God leads to producing eternal fruits.
Don't care more about what others think of you than what God thinks of you. With God, you don't need fancy titles or degrees to gain attention. With God, you don't need money in your wallet for Him to act. God just wants you.
Go ahead, kneel down, throw yourself at His feet—He is waiting for you.
