The Seven Gates of Graceنموونە

The Door Closed
Have you ever received an unexpected visit? Maybe from someone who wants to sell you an encyclopedia or a set of latest-generation pans? Thank God, my neighbor doesn't sell encyclopedias or pots; she simply sometimes knocks on the door and offers us a slice of her splendid and delicious cakes.
Certainly, this type of visit is not only welcome but also desired. We would all like to have neighbors who remember us, and even more, we would like the Three Kings to knock on our door and bring us gold, frankincense, and myrrh. But I will give you wonderful news: Jesus is at your door.
He doesn't want to sell you anything, neither encyclopedias nor pots and pans. He doesn't want to ask you to join a recreational club.
He will not bring you the riches of this world or even a piece of cake. Instead, he will bring you the grace to experience salvation.
Jesus will never break down the door, but he will knock softly and gently, hoping you will answer. He wants to have dinner with you; he wants to know you and be known by you.
I believe it's time to open the door of your heart and let Jesus in.
