A Life That Makes Room for Godنموونە

Seeking.
In 2 King 4:1-7, we meet a widow in a dire situation. Her husband is dead. She is faced with a debt she feels unable to pay and the threat of her sons' enslavement hangs over her. In her desperation, she turns to the prophet Elisha for help.
The woman in this story has a God encounter, and there are two things that lead her to that moment:
1. She’d had the privilege of sharing life with someone who was devoted to God.
Pause to give thanks for faithful friends and family members who have helped you find your way to Jesus.
2. She hit a serious crisis and she needed to experience the Power of God for herself and for her children.
Crises can either drive us away from God or they can make us lean into His Loving Embrace.
Give thanks for the times when troubles have spurred you to deeper trust in God.
