Born Again?نموونە

Your inheritance
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 30-40 percent of Americans receive an inheritance. For one-third of you, some riches (a chunk of money, the family cabin) are on the way.
But don’t get down if that’s not you, because 100 percent of born-again believers are even richer. Earlier in his letter, Peter wrote, “[God] has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you” (1 Peter 1:3,4).
Because of Jesus, there is a place prepared for you, a spot where there is no suffering or wondering, no regretting or repenting, no holding your breath, no hoping things work out, no missing him or her, no missing out. It’s a place where your face would hurt from the laughter (if it was possible to hurt in heaven); a life where everything is right, and nothing will ever go wrong; the moment when you know you’ll never have to worry again or apologize again or try and fail again; a place where you see the face of God. Those born into an earthly inheritance will spend their money all too quickly. But the born again will enjoy their inheritance forever.
Child of God, if life has got you down, reread Peter’s words, and remember the inheritance that nothing and no one can touch, the riches kept in heaven for you!

Some of us doubt our place in God’s family because we feel weak or struggle with the same sin year after year, but that doesn’t deny the evidence of true faith. Do you regret your sin? Do you believe Jesus died for you too? Then take heart! You have been born again!
