Day 2

I went swimming in saltwater at the beach at the end of summer, and it was ‘Hawaii’ warm – a delicious 25 degrees. After that, I went home and watered my tomato plant with fresh water from the hose. I did not use salty as it would have killed them. God is interested in water too.

Water is so special to God that He made a template of yet another kind of water. Jesus spoke of this kind to the woman at the well. He said if she drank of the water He had, it would turn into a well inside of her and well up and make her live forever. Wow! What water!

And there is this kind of water in our future too.

One day you and I will see what John saw in Revelation 22:1 – ‘the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb’… (NIV).

Remember to start your day and drink of the flow of the water Jesus offered.

Drinking of the water can be like this: 1) Tell Jesus you’re sorry for any mistakes. 2) Serve Him as your Lord. 3) Listen to His Word in the Bible and follow the leadings of the Holy Spirit.
