He Hears Our Prayer
Sometimes we find ourselves too busy to pray, don't we? "Ah, no, I can't stop, no. I'll pray later." It's as though stopping to pray was wasting precious time. We need to learn that praying is not a waste of time. Quite the contrary, praying is buying time. Isaac was promised that he would have a son, but he married a barren woman. He could very well have set aside that promise and moved on with his life. But no, he continued praying, interceding for Rebekah, until God heard his prayer and she conceived. So, I ask you, in what ways do we differ from Isaac? NONE. God also hears our prayers when we say them. In bad times, in good times, in times of asking for guidance and confirmation, God always hears us. He never covers His ears when He starts to hear our voice. God hears us even when we can't make a sound in our prayers, whether out of shame or sadness.
God always hears our prayer. We don't need to fear. We know what name to call upon and how to call out to Him. Pray without ceasing!
