Psalm 80: A Cry for Restorative Grace
Psalm 80 is a cry for God’s restorative grace. We once lived across the street from a beautiful house that was being restored. This once grand house was broken down and needed care. A restorer will peel the house back to its deepest level of difficulty and build out until it’s back to the condition it was in when it was first built. Similarly, sin has broken us down at every level, and God’s goal is to restore us to the condition he designed for us to be in when he created people and placed them on earth.
