In the Shadowsنموونە

At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
SPEND TIME WITH GOD
There's no formula or one right way to spend time with God. Whether you already know how you like to spend time with God, or you're still trying to understand how to hear God's voice, today's challenge is going to help you experiment with some new ways of connecting with God. Try it and see what you discover about God—and about yourself, too!
CHALLENGE
Sometimes, we try to hide our doubts from God. But the truth is, God knows what we're thinking. So, for this challenge, go ahead and write down your questions and uncertainties about what God is up to. This week, whenever you have a doubt, record it in a note on your phone or jot it down in a journal. Then, talk to God about it.
It's possible that your questions will not have been answered by the end of the week. But by talking to God openly about your doubts, you'll have made room for your faith to grow.

As we grow and experience more life, we might find the shadows of doubt or questions creeping towards us. Rather than running from the shadows, we can look to God to cast some light on the situation. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll take a look at stories that draw us closer to God's light whenever we feel lost in the shadows.
