5 Days to Finding More Peaceنموونە

Demonstrating Peace at Work
One of the hardest spaces to navigate is the workplace. Depending on where our name falls on the org chart, we are either in control or out of control during situations while at work.
Our ability to control or not control what is going on around us might cause us to stew over work challenges. The Hebrew word for stew is similar to the word fret used in Psalm 37:7–8 and suggests actions that one thinks of when cooking, such as simmering or getting hot.
It’s important that we continue to exhibit the peace of Christ when facing adversity. When we refrain from anger, we demonstrate that we trust God and we allow him to work and guide us. We wait on God to step in and do his best work. And waiting on God means that we will inherit the land, as Psalm 37:9 tells us.
Today, let’s glorify God by showing him we trust him to keep us in perfect peace when we are at work. We have a commitment to not allow whatever we are dealing with to allow us to stew on anything other than Jesus.
