Serving like Jesus

My faith journey has shown me the profound importance of service, a key lesson from Jesus' teachings. It's remarkable to think that God sent His own son, not to be served, but to serve others. Despite being the King of Kings, Jesus chose the path of service, not as a duty or sacrifice, but as an expression of pure love.

Jesus demonstrated service by treating everyone with kindness and respect, fulfilling their needs like a true friend. His approach was not about asserting authority, but about offering help and support selflessly. This example stands in stark contrast to today’s society, where many of us behave as if we're entitled to attention and service from others. This is a far cry from what Jesus intended for us.

He taught us to be humble and to serve others without expecting anything in return, without judgment, just motivated by love. This selfless way of living is a powerful means to grow closer to God and to truly embody His teachings. It's a reminder that in serving others, we align ourselves more closely with the heart and purpose of Jesus' message.
