God's Redemption Story (Judges - 2 Samuel)نموونە

David & Bathsheba - 3/5
Psalm 51 is David’s request to God to be cleaned and forgiven. He knew he had sinned and could only find peace and wholeness in the mercy and grace of his mighty God. while most of the Psalm is the expected “clean me and forgive me” language that we expect, verses 13 and 14 are surprising. Here David committed to teaching others about God’s forgiveness and singing of his righteousness.
The only way to tell people about God’s forgiveness is to tell them about your personal experience with it—to tell them what you did wrong. We’re not in the habit of sharing about our weaknesses and failures. We routinely hide that stuff. But what if opening up to others helped them meet the savior they so desperately need? Could you be vulnerable with someone today?
