Advent: Exploring Hope, Peace, Love, and Joyنموونە

Pray
Dear Lord, You are the “true light,” the only pure source of light amid the weak lights. Your light is as pure as the sun shining into an aisle of fluorescent lights—there’s no mistaking the real light. But I often forget to look to Your light in my own darkness. It’s so easy for me to get paralyzed by my own troubles and neglect to remember that there is a light that brings hope, love, and peace. In Your light, Lord, nothing else can stand. Help me to see Your light, even when it’s hard, and help me to become a light that glows only for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
