The Gratitude Challengeنموونە

Hey, friends. My name is John Ortberg and I’m with a ministry called Become New, designed to help you grow spiritually one day at a time. We’re so glad you’re joining us in this Bible Plan to grow in the practice of gratitude.
Here’s what you can expect: For the next five days, we’ll give you a thought about gratitude. This will include a short 10-minute video to watch and some verses to think about. We’ll end each day with an invitation to put what we’ve learned into practice. Every day is designed to help you become a more grateful person.
Let’s get to it! Check out today’s video, and then be sure to complete the gratitude assessment as your invitation for today.
Gratitude Assessment:
Assess yourself honestly on the following statements from strongly disagree to strongly agree:
- I have so much in life to be thankful for.
- When I look at the world, I don’t see much to be grateful for.
- Long amounts of time can go by before I can feel grateful for something or someone.
- It takes an awful lot to make a person like me feel appreciated.
- I often reflect on how much easier my life is because of the efforts of others.
As you go through the statements, truly reflect on how grateful of a person you are. Consider journaling through this Bible Plan, and let’s grow in gratitude together.

Join John Ortberg on a 5-day journey to becoming a more grateful person. In this Plan, you'll learn what gratitude is and what it is NOT. We'll also cover how Jesus forever changed gratitude and how we can embody a spirit of gratefulness, even in the midst of difficulty.
