Singing God's Word With the Elliott'sنموونە

Imagine you’re a branch on a vine. If someone were to cut you away from the vine, you’d begin to wither away. God’s Word tells us that He’s the vine, and we’re the branches.
This is a visual that helps us understand that we need to bring God into every area of our lives.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 NIV
Family Tip:
Select one person to pretend to be the vine and another person to pretend to be the branch. Ask, “Who does the vine represent?” (Jesus) and “Who does the branch represent?” (us). For extra fun, allow someone to try to “cut” the branch away from the vine.
Reflection Questions:
Have you ever tried something on your own and found out that you needed God?
What fruit has grown in your life because of remaining close to Jesus?
