How to Overcome Fear and Step Into Your Destinyنموونە

Day 2: Fear as an obstacle to Divine Calling
Fear is an emotion that can be used by the enemy to prevent you from entering into the works prepared in advance for you by God. It can cause you to procrastinate, to doubt yourself, to wait for perfect circumstances. Yet, as Gideon's example shows, God calls everyone to move forward with the strength they already possess.
Fear can tell you all sorts of things, the enemy can encourage you to have thoughts such as:
- "No, don't do that, this isn't the time, we'll see about that tomorrow. We'll wait until things are aligned and then good..."
- I've been told that ... such and such a person prophesied that ....
- I think wisdom would dictate that ...."
While some thoughts can sometimes be good, others ultimately drive you to procrastinate, to always put off until tomorrow what you can do today.
God has peace plans for you, blessings, and the Bible declares that "God will bless the work of your hands", but if you do nothing about the destiny God has given you, then nothing will happen, and it has to stop!
We know that Gideon succeeded: that means he had within him the divine potential to accomplish something incredible, he had within him the potential to overthrow the enemy of Israel... but he hid, he was afraid.
Don't let fear rob you of realizing the dreams, visions, and prophecies God has spoken over your life. It's time to break the chains of fear and realize that you have the potential to accomplish incredible things.
