Josiah was just like any eight year old boy, except for one significant difference, he was THE KING of Judah.

His father, Amon, was an evil king who worshipped idols and was killed by his own servants. As Josiah grew older, he became more experienced and powerful. Josiah loved God, and without turning to the left or the right, he had his eyes fixed on obeying God.

There was no other king quite like Josiah, a king who did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. You may think he was too young, but Josiah reminds us that you’re never too young to serve God.
