RESTART TO RESET
If you were to google the question, “How often should I restart my phone?” you’d learn that, on average most devices should be restarted once a week. PAUSE.
Right now, think about the last time you restarted the phone you're reading this on. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure my phone has been on since I bought it. Not including the times it died because I wasn’t near a charger or maybe the one time it fell on the ground, shattered, and required getting a new phone altogether. The truth is, many of us build our lives on a battery life that often runs until it runs out.
In some cases, it's not until we encounter a relational, financial, or circumstantial loss that we recognize our desperate need for reconnection with God. This pace of life is not sustainable.
In fact, it's this unchecked hustle that can produce so much anxiety in our lives. It’s often said that we are more than human doings, but rather human beings. Sometimes all it takes is a little reset to reconnect with Jesus like when we first believed. This plan is designed to help you unplug from the daily noise to be able to reconnect with the intimate nudge of God’s voice through His word.
Today's Challenge: Pause. Where have you felt the most hurried or anxious lately? Take a moment to invite God into this space. Over the next 7 days, you have the opportunity to reset quiet as you reframe your focus on Jesus.
