Daddy lights you up

Remember when you were a kid and you were afraid of the dark? I think the fear of the dark is the most common, even as adults when there is a power outage and we are left in the dark we get scared. Now imagine walking down a road in the middle of the night, the moonlight is very dim, and the noises of the forest in the middle of the night are very scary... ufff I don't want to be there.

There are times in life when we feel like this, alone, dazed and full of fear. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp unto my feet; it is a light unto my path." Throughout the 176 verses that make up Psalm 119, David expresses his longing for direction from God, he knew how blessed he was to be guided by Him, but he also lets us see that at some point he was lost and desperate.

No matter what season you are in, it is time for you to long with all your heart for God's Word to guide you, for His Holy Spirit to show you the way and bring revelation. As David cries out for the fire of His presence, I assure you of a glorious season.
