Purify Your Mind Series (Part 1) by Joe Kirbyنموونە

Accountability Is a Gift
I’m a big believer in accountability software. Sin thrives in secrecy. Once you confess your sin to a trusted brother or sister in Christ, you find a huge weight is lifted off your shoulders because your friend will help carry this burden with you. Accountability software works by blocking adult content and also by taking multiple screenshots every minute you are active on your device. It also records all your searches across the Internet so that anything concerning or suspicious is forwarded to your accountability partner’s email address.
As powerful as these tools are, though, they can only help so much. You’re camping, and you keep filling your water bottle from a river, but you notice the water is contaminated with blood. What’s the most sensible thing to do? To filter every bucket out until the water is pure, or to walk upstream and remove the dead carcass contaminating the water? Once you deal with the heart of the problem, the water can flow clean again. Whatever the idol is that’s contaminating your heart today, rip it from the throne of God and treasure Christ with every fiber of your being.
