Boaz then even offered her lunch and allowed her to glean among the already gathered sheaves of grain, as well as making sure that some grain from the bundles would purposefully “fall” for her to pick up. This is going above and beyond the command of Leviticus - fulfilling not just the letter of the law but the spirit of it too.
