Welcome to Day 4 of our inspiring Bible reading plan! Today, we will take a moment to evaluate our mission fields and discover how we can make an impact right where we are.

My Heart

Let's start with our hearts. Has God invaded your life and radically changed you? Are you seeking God daily in prayer and His Word? If you are, then you're on the right track. And remember, our pursuit of God shouldn't end when this study concludes. Let's continue seeking Him every day.

Home

Next, let's consider our homes. How's your home life? Are you respectful and honoring others in your home? Do you serve lovingly, without selfish motives? If you realize there's room for improvement, it's time to start being a minister in your home.

Neighbors

Now, let's think about our neighbors. Do they know and follow Christ? If not, let's write down their names and pray for them. Ask God to reveal ways to minister to them. And remember that neighbors can also be the people we interact with daily at work, friends, or even people at the grocery store. Let's find ways to demonstrate God's love to them.

Work

Our work environment, where we spend a significant portion of our time is an important mission field. Are you shining the light of Christ in your workplace? Are you known for your integrity, kindness, and willingness to help others? Think about ways you can demonstrate Christ's love like an act of service, listening more than talking, appreciating your colleagues, or praying for and encouraging those around you. Your workplace can become a platform for sharing God's love and making a difference in the lives of others.

City or State

Moving beyond our immediate surroundings, let's explore our city or state. What are the needs and opportunities there? Do some research to find out. Is there a teen pregnancy issue? Are there local ministries that need volunteers or assistance? We can only effectively serve if we know the needs and opportunities in our own backyard.

World

Finally, let's consider the world. Some people are called to live in foreign nations as missionaries, but even if that's not your calling, you can still have a global impact right from your own home. Pray for nations, support missionaries, and find creative ways to share the love of Christ beyond your borders.
