Use Your Keys: Finding Purpose in Lifeنموونە

The Church
Yesterday, we looked at Peter and how his name declared that the truth of Jesus being the Messiah and how Peter would be the rock on which His (Jesus') Church would be built.
You cannot be the church if you do not understand and accept who Jesus is … the Messiah. So, this goes back to my question. Do you truly understand that? If so, then it is on YOU and on YOUR understanding of that knowledge that Jesus is building His church.
When you genuinely grasp that Jesus is the Messiah, the Savior, you can’t help but follow Him. You can’t help but make Him the sole purpose of your life. He wants to use you. He wants to build something upon you. When your mind, heart, and soul all come together with this wisdom, everything clicks. And THAT is the church–those with that foundation.
Keep this in mind as we continue diving into this passage in Scripture. The church is not a building … the church is anyone who follows Him.
Think about your own community of believers. Are you encouraging one another? Are you challenging each other to grow closer to Jesus? Pray today for ways you can be a stronger part of His Church.
