Jehovah: A Name of Godنموونە

Let's look at Jehovah Sabaoth, pronounced juh-ho-vuh saba-ath. Most of the names we've looked at so far have only shown up in Scripture a couple of times, but this name is found 285 times! We find it first in 1 Samuel 1:3, and it means, "The Lord of Armies."
Another time this name is used is 1 Samuel 17:45. David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of Jehovah Sabaoth, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied."
This name shows God’s power and might. He is the commander of all! Today, I challenge you to close your eyes and imagine your biggest problem is facing you on a battlefield. Then picture God, with His heavenly army, fighting the battle for you. Rest in knowing that He is going to be victorious.
To dig deeper, read Psalm 24.
