Jamesنموونە

Throughout the second chapter of his book, James calls us to embody our faith by the actual changes it brings not only to our thoughts but to our lives and actions as a whole. As followers of Jesus, we cannot divorce faith from action. James encourages us that just as both Abraham’s active obedience through which “he was called God’s friend,” (v. 23) and Rahab’s brave actions, we are called to become doers of the word in our personal circumstances.

The Epistle of James has so much to offer us as followers of Jesus today. It was originally written to Jewish Christians spread all over the ancient world. The message is straight to the point, practical, and challenging. Wherever we find ourselves following Jesus, this letter can help us realize how our spiritual and practical life should be one in the same.
