Real Hope: Food for the Soulنموونە

The Wedding
Whilst we don’t know a lot about weddings in first-century Palestine, they were clearly big events, with lots of guests, food and wine. Imagine a weeklong celebration.
To be invited to someone’s wedding is a privilege. It means that the bride and groom care about us, and want us to be there to celebrate their day, witnessing the service and partaking in the feast afterwards.
The parable of the wedding banquet tells us that Jesus has invited us all to celebrate with Him. Don’t be too busy or too proud to respond, because you will miss out. When you are prompted by the Holy Spirit to respond to Jesus’ invitation, the right response is, ‘Yes’.
