Qualifying for God's Anointingنموونە

HOW OBEDIENT ARE YOU?
God anoints obedience. The Bible says Jesus, as a Son, became obedient unto death, even the death on the cross. He could have withdrawn and refused to die. No wonder the Bible says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… (Php. 2:9-10).”
How obedient are you? You may say you are not disobedient, but there are different levels of disobedience.
The first is delayed obedience. This is because when you delay your obedience, several assignments from the Lord might be hard or impossible to accomplish since they have times attached to them. When your pastor says, “Come now” and you delay for 10 to 15 minutes, you are already entertaining the spirit of disobedience.
The second is selective obedience. If you are assigned seven tasks to carry out, don’t be a Christian that will only do four convenient tasks out of the seven. Make sure that you are not selecting the instructions to obey.
The third is incomplete obedience. People with this habit do not complete the cycle of obedience and they stop short of all that the Lord asks them to do.
The fourth is partial obedience. To inherit the promise, you must obey completely.
Finally, we have obedience unto death. This is Jesus’ kind of obedience that earned Him a name that is above every name.
Sometimes, you’ve got to defy the rain to attend church services. Some unbelieving husbands make life so difficult for their born-again wives and yet the wives have to keep obeying God. God sees your obedience. The reward you will get in terms of the anointing that comes upon your life far outweighs the suffering of obedience.
PRAYER: Lord, I choose complete obedience on every matter of life and destiny, and I will reap the blessing of obedience in Jesus’ name. Amen!
