Start the Party - High Schoolنموونە

Have you ever seen someone impersonate someone else? They can capture their voice, their mannerisms, and their tone. It’s amazing how much like the person they can sound! When Paul writes this verse, he tells us to imitate God—in other words, to behave as God. And how do we know how God would act? We simply look to Jesus. Jesus represents God. If we have any questions about what God is like, what God cares about, and how God would live, we have the perfect example! Imitate God—look at how Jesus lived and then model it. If we do it long enough, everything about us will begin to resemble Jesus—which is exactly what Paul is encouraging us to do. This week, write down five different examples of how Jesus lived that you can imitate in your own life. Then pick one to work on!
