Ten Massive Leadership Questionsنموونە

What are my motives?
There are only a few worthy motives out there. We will be quick to claim those motives behind all of our dealings and doings. However, that is not always the case. It should be, but it is not. It is also not like we sort out our motives once and then live happily pure ever after. If only! Unworthy motives are real stalkers and have to be kept at bay diligently.
If you are a leader, you have influence. With influence comes power. With power comes…well, it depends on your motives and what comes with it. But in the wise words of Spiderman’s mentor: “With great power comes great responsibility”. As Christian leaders, we ought to be servant leaders. Jesus made that abundantly clear with His whole feet washing demonstration the evening before He was betrayed. We lead in service of people, and by extension in service of Jesus himself. Using influence first for our own gain is not of God. Our leadership actions must always first be about the advantage of those we serve. That is the hallmark of the Christian leader.
