The Last Apostle | John 11نموونە

Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead. It’s the seventh and final sign Jesus gives in the first half of the Gospel of John. The seven signs demonstrate that God is with us because Jesus is here. Seven epiphanies.
Through John, the signs escalate, as does the desire to kill Jesus. By now, we see a near-permanent divide. Nothing, not even resurrection, will convince some who won’t believe. Yet those who dare to will start to see what Jesus means: “I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25).
There is life in Jesus, but don’t be surprised if someone you love never come to believe it–no matter what you say or what they see. But with God, there is hope. There is always hope. Hope and pray that God’s light will help them to see His invitation to life in Jesus.

John, the last of the living apostles, wrote a story about Jesus near the end of his life. It’s his testimony of who Jesus is, what he said, what he did, and who he claimed to be. Jesus has a story. He invites us to make it our story. When we make Jesus’s story our story, we have life in his name. As part of an ongoing series through the book of John, this plan focuses on John Chapter 11.
