FEAR OF THE LORD
What does it mean to fear God? To fear God is venerate, honor, respect, and highly esteem. It is to stand in awe of God more than anything or anyone else. It is to dread displeasing him. It is when you love what God loves and hate what God hates. It is to honor God’s authority in your life above all else.
The person who is scared of God has something to hide. Adam hid from the presence of the Lord when he sinned.
The person who fears God has nothing to hide, he is terrified to be away from God.
And Proverbs 1:7 tells us, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge."
