Contentmentنموونە

It is very essential that we find a balance in our lives. On the one hand, we might have to find contentment in the midst of difficult circumstances, not panicking but instead trusting that He will always protect us. Other times, we have to be careful that our comfortable situation doesn’t keep us from getting up, moving forward, and fulfilling God’s plan for us.
In fact, contentment can exist no matter what circumstance you find yourself in. Paul writes that he was content whether he had a little or a lot (Philippians 4:11-12). God was so real to him on the inside that he could handle anything on the outside. As God’s children in this confusing and slippery world, we need, with the Lord’s help, to develop a similar surefootedness. We can do this by holding firmly onto Christ. We need His help to order our steps according to His Word. Once we let Him do that, we will find lasting contentment through all our ups and downs.
