Reroutingنموونە

Every day we’re presented with a variety of choices. What will you have for breakfast? What route will you take to work? What kind of mood do you think you will be in for the day? We go through the day the best we can, knowing that tomorrow will bring even more decisions. We’re all working hard to make the best decisions possible every second of the day, and that can be difficult. Yet, God calls for us to live our lives in wisdom and to continually look to Him for direction and guidance when taking our next step. Wisdom is also found in asking for it. It’s just as wise to know when it’s time to call for help as it is to always know the right answer. We could all use a little more wisdom in our lives. Is there a wise person in your life that you can call on when you need to talk through a situation? Is there a friend, loved one, or an authority figure who is able to tell you what you need to hear when you need to hear it? If you have that person, take some time this week to connect with them. If you don’t, pay attention to the people you interact with in your daily life to see if you can find a person who will help you be accountable for your choices.

No matter the destination you’re trying to reach, the journey to get there comes with twists and turns instead of a straight path. We often have to reroute. In this devotional we’ll dive into what it looks like to reroute and find a new map along the journey. We’ll see many examples of God working to fulfill the plans He created for us.
