Remember Redemptively
Today we’re talking about living in a way that allows us to learn from what is wrong and what is evil so we can remember with gratitude and inspiration.
Though people have short memories, God’s love lasts from generation to generation. God remembers His people and He remembers you.
-John Ortberg
Today, ask yourself and God how you can remember intentionally and redemptively. Remember all the blessings in your life that God has given you.
What actions can you take today that will help create memories of faithfulness for you in the future?
Is there something you often think about from the past that still doesn’t sit well? Try to remember the redemption story or a lesson learned through that experience today instead of calling upon the negative feelings it conjures.
