Year of the Bible: Part Four of Twelve نموونە

Hear, O Israel.
In Hebrew, "to listen" means to hear and obey. In Deuteronomy Chapter 6, we "hear" Moses repeat to the Israelites God's commands so that they and their children may live a prolonged life. God is a God of Life, and it has been His plan for humankind to live with Him in close fellowship from the very beginning.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. Put God's word in your hearts, teach them to your children, and write them out. The reward for hearing and obeying this commandment is God's Presence and fellowship.
Question: In what way can you write God's word into your heart? How will you teach these words to your children and grandchildren?
Prayer Focus: God's grace empowers us to love Him properly. Ask God to grant you His grace to love Him with all of your heart, soul, and strength. Permit Him into every area of your life and take down every figurative "No Trespassing" sign in your heart. In so doing, you will experience peace beyond understanding.
