Grace When You’re Wearyنموونە

For by Grace You Have Been Saved Through Faith
Will you join us in taking a deep breath now?
And then another?
One more…
Then, imagine these words spoken over you now: “For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2: 8-10, ESV).
And now speak these verses by changing the pronouns, so it reads like this: “For by grace I have been saved through faith. And this is not my own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that I may not boast. For I am his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that I should walk in them.”
And now be quiet for a few minutes. Set a timer, if that helps you relax and focus. What is the Holy Spirit speaking to you through this Scripture? And how is it tying in with the message from Day 1? How does it speak to your heart?
