Daily Bible Reading – April 2022: God’s Renewing Word of Hopeنموونە

April 3
Introduction
Today’s reading continues the reading from yesterday (Psalm 42). It begins with the writer’s plea for deliverance from enemies and those who are evil and concludes with an affirmation of trust in God.
Scripture Reading
Psalm 43
Today’s Key Verse: Psalm 43:5b
I will put my hope in God, and once again I will praise him, my savior and my God.
Reflect
Verse 5 repeats what was stated twice in Psalm 42. These words of hope and trust conclude today’s reading. In verses 1 and 2, what does the writer say to God? Have you ever felt like the psalm writer? In what ways do you express your hope and trust in God?
Pray
Lord God, I put my hope in you and praise you for being my God and savior. Send your light and lead me today in the way of your truth. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
John 9:1-12: Jesus heals a man born blind.
