Can the Resurrection Change My Life?نموونە

Whenever I am talking with someone, I like to figure out what makes them come to life; what things get them excited. For kids, it might be playing at the park or their new puppy. With grandparents, all it takes is the mention of their grandkids to see their faces light up.
The Apostle Paul said for me to live is Christ. What made the Apostle Paul alive? Talking about the Lord, the things of God, and Heaven.
What makes you come to life? What conversation energizes you and shows where your affection is?
We are to be seeking after and setting our affections upon the things which are above and not on the earth. This concept is not just for pastors or missionaries. This is for all of us who know Jesus Christ. Talking about Him should bring us to life.
If you are saved and have identified in His death, burial, and resurrection, you are risen with Christ. If you are risen with Christ, you were dead in your old nature. That is not to say that your old nature does not exist anymore, but it no longer has power over you.
The power of Jesus’ resurrection is life-changing. You do not have to obey your sin nature once you have risen with Christ. You are saved, you are a child of God; now live like it and serve like it!
