Year of the Bible: Part One of Twelveنموونە

God Remembers Noah.
Stop here and read today's scriptures.
Imagine Noah floating in a hand-made ship with animals and loved ones day after day, night after night, uncertain when the whole ordeal would be over. This story is almost too hard to envision, wouldn't you say? "Floods" are common in the human experience and come in many forms but are always disorienting and dark times. Times when we will question God's character and even wonder if He has forgotten about us.
We can be deeply encouraged by the first verse in our reading today: "But God remembered Noah..."
Question: Where in your life do you need God to show you He remembers and sees you and your situation?
Prayer Focus: Ask God to show you his character and nature more each day, even in the places you sense darkness and an inability to understand.
