Beloved, this is a skill we must practice every day. When we practice waiting on the Lord, we are really being strengthened in the process. (Psalms 27:14) Waiting on Father might sometimes be like waiting at a bus stop for the bus to come and take you to where you need to go. You are looking expectantly down the road because you know that the bus is coming. It always comes. You’ve been taking that bus for twenty years. It’s coming. There is no other way for you to get to where you need to be. You have to wait on that bus. Wait.
