Pastor How to Read Lukeنموونە

Please read the Gospel of Luke 2:6-7,
7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son... and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
No room for God!
What an epic irony.
God created the universe, space, time and mankind but man has no room for Him.
You can imagine Joseph and Mary going from motel to motel, door to door asking for a room, but everyone slams the door in their face. In the same way, Jesus is also knocking at the door of our hearts. I wonder if we will slam the door on Him too?
I thank God that He is gracious and forgiving. While we have no room for Him on earth, He made room for us in heaven.
John 14:2 (The Message) There is plenty of room for you in my Father’s home... I’m on my way to get a room ready for you?
Thank God He didn’t treat us the way we treated Him. He came to earth and man didn’t prepare a room for Him, yet when we go to heaven, Jesus has already prepared a room for us.
John 14:2 (NKJV) In My Father’s house are many mansions…
Manger = animal feeding trough
Man left Jesus in a manger yet He left to prepare a mansion for us.
That’s undeserved, unconditional love.
