7 Truths of Marriage: Real Talk Communicationsنموونە

Winning Talk
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might.
Ecclesiastes 9:10
The adage that it’s better to be lucky than good might work in a game of chance, but when it comes to marriage, relying on luck is a recipe for certain failure. A solid relationship requires intentional effort and purposeful communications. Here’s another goodie – fail to plan, plan to fail. Today’s devotional isn’t about sharing old sayings, but it is about setting a standard for winning at marriage.
When you focus on winning talk, you set your focus on what it takes to win at marriage as well as what are identifiable threats to a healthy relationship. Remain aware of what issues interfere with winning.
Don’t be afraid to change your language to that of a marriage winner. Those conversations can’t be timid or haphazard. Winning requires effort, so see the effort it takes to maintain open communications as the pathway to an incredibly successful marriage. Give it your all and with all your might and you will both always come out the winner in marriage.
True Talk:
Are you approaching your marriage as a win or lose relationship? Have you both intentionally talked about what it takes to win at marriage? If not, make sure you both commit to actively pursue a winning approach to growing an incredible marriage. Winning is the only option.
