Attitude of Gratitude - 7 Truths About Being Thankfulنموونە

Grateful for the Holy Spirit
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same spirit distributes them. 1 Corinthians 12:4
Adopting a posture of gratitude requires honest self-examination. Many people in that assessment would admit not knowing the Holy Spirit well or at all. Being grateful to God requires that you know Him – all of Him. The Holy Spirit is as much God as the Father and the Son. He makes up one-third of the triune nature of God. Because He is God, the gifts given by the Holy Spirit are also from God.
Gifts that you experience in your daily life are from the Holy Spirit. It may be the gift of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, or healing, but they all come from Him. When you show gratitude, you are confessing that all you are is what has been gifted to you from God. In your corrupted sin state, you deserve nothing, but because God loves you and restores you the Holy Spirit can live within to sanctify you.
The Holy Spirit isn’t looking for credit as one-third God, but He is looking at the condition of your heart. If you are having difficulties being grateful for or receiving the Holy Spirit’s gifts, there may be a heart problem at work. Pray about whether you just don’t understand the character of the Holy Spirit, whether you’re not receptive to receiving gifts without a need to reciprocate or there is unforgiven sin in your life. These conditions not only limit the work of the Holy Spirit in you but create a block against gratitude in you.
Showing Gratitude:
An incredible way to show gratitude to the Holy Spirit is by getting to know Him. He lives inside of you as God’s temple is your body. Extend that gratitude by caring for His temple.
