How to Live an Epic Lifeنموونە

Imagine going into a jewelry store that sells expensive watches. The owner of the store sees you looking at the most expensive timepiece and asks if you would like to see it. He pulls it out of the glass display and sets it on the counter. As you are looking at it and trying it on, the owner says, “You know what? I’m going to give you that watch.”
Now, how many people would hesitate to ask if you could take the case the watch came in? Of course, he would give you the case. In fact, he would probably even wrap it up for you. The store owner is not going to charge you for the case; he gave you the watch!
This is what we have been talking about. God’s love for you is so great that He—the Lord God, the Creator of the universe—spared not His own Son for you. He is not going to hold back. He is going to freely give you all things. He is for you!
Trials will happen. Bad days will come. Your car will decide to not start on a cold Monday morning. The doctor might have bad news. Your marriage may be on the rocks. But remember this: God is for you. He is not against you.
God’s love for you is the foundation to build the rest of your life. Once you get a firm grasp of how much He loves you, cares for you, and is for you, you will be able to begin living a life that is truly epic.
Have you taken the time to think about how much God loves you? Have you thought about who you were before He saved you? What has He saved you from? Take some time today to thank Him and praise Him for His goodness towards you.
