Moments for Mums: Purpose - Part 1نموونە

Hit the Road
Did you know the Bible tells us to talk to our kids when we are ‘on the road’? I know that car trips with screaming babies and fighting siblings can be a nightmare, but some of my most treasured times with my kids were when it was just one of them and me in the car. There’s a certain comfort in being alongside each other, rather than face to face. They have our undivided attention (pretty much) and we have theirs. Toddlers in the car is an opportunity to sing songs and tell stories. (They don’t care if you can’t sing!)
As our kids get older, car time can be the time to talk about bigger things like, ‘What do you think about how the world was made?’ One conversation with my son was so important I actually stopped the car to focus on it!
Question:
What will you talk about next time you’re ‘on the road’?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to speak your words of life to my kids every day. Open their ears (and mine!) to the things You want to teach us. Amen.
