Real Hope: Finding Hope in Isaiahنموونە

Something Brand New
‘I am doing something brand new’! That was the declaration by God to His people in Isaiah 43. God was calling His people out from the old and into the new. A faith path out of their 72 years in captivity into freedom and redemption. God was announcing hope for humanity and calling things that were not as though they had already happened. He was asking them to see and respond as His children.
Staying stuck in the past can keep us from the new thing God wants to do. If Israel stayed stuck in the seduction and discouragement of Babylon, they would never look for release from exile. Like the Israelites, the Lord is calling us today to shake off the old. Your past is not His future for you. Don’t get stuck in the failure and discouragement of the past.
Go forward to the new thing God has for you. Often when God makes a promise, we worry about the details or the obstacles to fulfilling it. God wants us not to be afraid but to trust Him as He makes a way through our wilderness. He will transform the desert areas of your life into fields of hope and blessing.
